with the possible exception of backyard barry
all the festival goers should be back in the
real world [?] resting & triple-washing their clothes.
once they re-surface watch this space for heart-warming
stories & eye-stewing photos from the front.
hope you had a brilliant time!
maybe let us know- email elemental[at] zoom.co.uk
love, x elemental team

our glasto correspondant nic w says the elemental tent is friendlier than ever
rang me on a walk to the ‘park’ area, massive attack later
our piano hero colin (see pic below somewhere – if u witnessed his genius
u won’t forget) was being airlifted in despite much legal wrangling & shedding of tears
holy luck to all the festival this sunday – hope u have some spiritual moments
amid the mud & the mayhem..

mud wind rain & a big crackly fire
nic said the ‘elemental’ sign was blown off last night
& they lit a nice big fire to warm the punters
who queued to dry off round it
let’s hope they all get huddled together & cosy tonight
& ready themselves for shaky on stage tomorrow
or something

Come and visit Elemental at Glastonbury 2008. We have a marquee in the rather more blissful Green Fields, not too far from Jazz World stage.
lounge (comfy sofas, cushions & chairs)
cheap caff (teas/coffees= 60p)
art gallery (this is a high-brow venue yer know)
in-house salon (massage/hair straightening/nail biting)
zappy team (overworked/underachieving – needing hugs)
music (honky-tonk pianist/disco-jocks/acoustic crooners)
curious blend of faith & fallibility (is this how u spell fallibility?)
we hope that you enjoy your stay..

some of the elemental team are scrubbin down their tents & wibbling their wellies, readying themselves for another Somerset shindig, this time the Big Green Gathering, 1st-5th August.
Barry, Clare & Greg have been before – they say it’s a brilliant festival, like Glasto without the big stages/traffic jams/toilet queues etc.
Have a mighty good time out there..

i noticed some fun things bobbing in the skies above the human chaos. i thought it must be nice to be up so high, watching Shirley Bassey, brilliant view, plenty of room to dance…. i tried to imagine what it would look like if everybody had brought a ‘thing on a stick’ , an animated crowd in the sky, while us humans moved, at best, like living statues, hemmed in by mud, gravity and TALLER people. the weirdest thing i saw was a stuffed bird, a pigeon actually, maybe it wasn’t real but it was very lifelike…..
